Family Days
The word here is flexibility. Please tell us what you
would like and we will plan a day to suit you.
Situated close to the M4 junction 12, Cullinghood is
home to approximately 90 horses. The farm itself is steeped in history
and dates in parts back to the seventeenth century. Visitors can learn
about and handle some of our horses, miniature Shetlands and donkey.
Our experienced staff are at hand to relate
the progress of equines on view in the stables and surrounding
paddocks. The gently sloping farm tracks lead to many picnic areas
where sitting quietly may be rewarded with the sight of buzzards, red
kites and deer.
If you have never ridden, this is a perfect time for us
to introduce you to the pleasure millions of us have and we would like
to share this with you. Complete beginners will be on the leading rein
and the pace is very slow. For those who can ride, do try a lesson or
hack (subject to an assessment.)
We have a heated swimming pool (safety is a priority and
be used by arrangement.)
Lunch / refreshments are available and can be served on
the landscaped lawns, under a shady tree, by the pool house or in a
dining room.
Prices on application, but as a guide: site fee
£20 per family per day, sandwiches/soft drinks £3pp. 3
course lunch £10pp, riding at the standard price (see tuition page)
